Callie in 4-D

We had an ultrasound appointment today. When we got there, it was strange because there was no one in the office waiting room and no one working at all except one nurse (answering phones) and the ultrasound tech. My doctor was on vacation, so getting an ultrasound was the only thing you could do there today.

Which was lucky for us!

We started the ultrasound and I was so excited to see her again! And anxious to make sure that she was still a she. ;) She was! The tech was able to get all the measurements she needed, but we weren't able to see a good picture of Callie at all. In fact, it was awful looking. Her parts seemed all disjointed and we couldn't tell one thing from anything else. The poor girl tried and tried different position and movements and still nothing. She felt so bad and worked for 30 minutes to try to get a good shot.

This was as good as she could get and we were lucky she caught that.

I was disappointed because our last ultrasound pictures were so good.

Then she switched wands on my belly and the magic happened!
4D at it's best!! :)

Look at her sweet face!

Elbows and knees

We caught a yawn. Precious!

The tech said that it usually costs extra for 4D pics...but if we would keep it quiet, she wouldn't charge us. :) Secrets safe with me!

Well, maybe not.... ;)
