masterpiece

Callie has been spending some time in the older class (18 months +) lately because she has not been taking a second nap very well so they take her in there while the babies nap.

While she was in there last week, they did some fingerpainting. She did not so much like having that paint on her hands, they said. So much that she only got a few swipes of her fingers on the paper before she let them know she did not want anything to do with it!

Here's her masterpiece! HA!

However, I have figured out that she will fingerpaint with much excitement if you change the paint to green beans and the paper to her highchair tray.

Then? She's all in!

Oh this girl makes me laugh on a daily basis!

Will was the same with finger paint. He's changed his tune recently and now he's enthusiastic about any kind of art that entails making a mess. The things they do in his current room crack me up--trying to get 2-year-olds to cut things out and make collages is just an exercise in futility!
